Google now converts Flash ads to HTML5 automatically
In an approach to make the web features accessible to more devices and that too in a less annoying way, Google has now started converting Flash ads to HTML5 automatically.
Campaigns will automatically be switched over to HTML5 when uploaded through AdWords, AdWords Editor or some third party tools. However, all ads cannot be converted to HTML5. Refer this link to know more about it. Although, not all ads can be converted into HTML5, still a large number of them will be converted. This will increase the reach of the ads as HTML5 is supported by a lot more than devices than Flash.
In September, Google gave hints that it would begin auto-converting ads. After defaulting YouTube to HTML5 on all devices, this is Google’s move to make the best out of increased content consumption on mobile.
